Dear Parents and Carers,
The Junior Choir members in Years 3 and 4 have the opportunity to take part in the East Surrey Primary Schools Music Festival at the Dorking Halls after school on Monday 2nd March 2026. We are looking forward to this exciting performance; those involved will be part of a memorable experience. We can take 30 children with us and are prioritising Year 4 with Year 3s randomly selected. You are receiving this letter because your child has been selected – if they are not able to join us, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can release the place for someone else.
This letter is to get permission for your child to attend, let you know timings and give you the chance to buy tickets to the performance. Parents/ Carers are responsible for getting their child to the venue and picking them up after the event.
Timings
These are the timings for Monday 2nd March which will include a rehearsal as well as the performance.
3.30pm Children to be dropped off at the Dorking Halls, Dorking.
3.45pm Full concert rehearsal
5.00pm Tea break
6.00pm Concert starts
7pm-7.15pm Concert ends, children to be collected by parents/ carers.
Tickets
Tickets will cost £14 for adults and £10 for under 16s. Children performing do not need a ticket. Tickets go on sale from 12 noon on Friday 2 January 2026 – to avoid disappointment, please use this ticket link.
