We are pleased to say that we are finally able to hold the ever-popular Scholastic Book Fair once again. The format will be slightly different to previous years in that only the children will be able to visit the book fair. Each year group will get an opportunity to come to the library and look at the book fair trollies. There will be over 200 of the best new books from as little as £2.99.
The children can fill out a ‘wish list’ for any books that they would like to buy and bring it home for you to look at. If you would like to buy any of the books, you will be able pay via the on-line link (on the wish list and at the bottom of this email) and return the list back to school with a payment reference code the next day. We will then pass the books on to the children from the book fair trollies, hopefully by the end of that week. There is also a link on the wish list for you to view all the books that are available from the book fair, in case you need to tweak the wish list!
The books aren’t discounted, but St. Mary’s earn generous rewards from Scholastic, based on our Book Fair sales, which means we can buy many new books for our library and the classrooms.
We are currently running a couple of competitions in the library and five children will win £5 book vouchers to spend at the fair.
