St Mary’s Step into School – Year 3 and Infants
Dear Parents/Careers,
We are looking forward to welcoming you into school on Monday 6th October for our ‘Step into School’ event.
We know that some of you have more than one child in these year groups so this is how we can make it work!
We have assumed you will spend about 10 minutes in the classroom.
If you only have one child at St Mary’s in Reception to Year 3
- Please come no earlier than 3pm – and then pick up will be as normal
If you have more than one child in Reception to Year 3
- Please come at 2:45pm
- Start with the oldest child,
- Take them with you as you go to the next class.
- Then pick up as normal (particularly if you have a child in yr4-6)
If you have a child year 3 AND a child at another infant school
- Please come at 2:45pm
- Leave the site no later than 3pm – and you will be on time to pick up your younger children
- If you ALSO have a child in yr4-6 please send a Dojo message to your older child’s class teacher and we will arrange for that child to come to the year 3 classroom at 2:55pm
If you have a child in the infants And Year 3 St Mary’s at and in another Infant school
- Please come at 2:45pm
- Leave by 3:05 and you will be just about on time for infant pick up!
- If you ALSO have a child in yr4-6 please send a Dojo message to your older child’s class teacher and we will arrange for that child to come to the year 3 classroom at 2:55pm
Please use the orange gate if starting your visit in the infants and the yellow gate if starting your visit in Year 3.
Your children are excited to be showing you their classrooms and their learning and we hope you will enjoy seeing this too.
